Meet our nurse team
Meet Our Veterinary Nurses
Caring, knowledgeable and dedicated, our veterinary nurse team plays an essential role in every aspect of the clinic. From assisting with procedures to supporting recovery, they help ensure each visit is handled with calm, professional care—for both pets and their people.
Trained in animal handling, clinical care and surgical support, our nurses work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of treatment and wellbeing. They also provide guidance during appointments and help create a welcoming, reassuring experience at every stage of your pet’s visit.
Take a moment to get to know the team working behind the scenes.

A lifelong learner, Courtney has attained a Certificate in Feline Nursing with distinction as well as studying managerial courses. Courtney has a heartfelt passion for cats and indulgently spoils her own at home. She is an integral part of the Westlakes family and loves getting to know clients well and their pets even better.
Tylah

Tylah is a dedicated veterinary nurse with a clinical interest in anaesthetics and client care. She ensures every pet has a safe and comfortable experience during procedures and she loves making clients feel welcome and supported. Georgia
Veterinary Nurse
As someone who loves animals and has a strong passion for sports, Georgia finds fulfillment in both caring for her pets and staying active. Whether she is caring for her pets or our wonderful patients, Georgia loves to build trust with the animals around her. She thrives on staying connected with nature and enjoys the energy of physical activity. Georgia is always looking for new ways to stay active, explore the outdoors, and grow both physically, mentally and in her vet nursing career.
Bridie
Veterinary Nurse
Bridie has an intuitive feel for animals, and thrives at making their stay in our clinic as calm and safe as possible. She interprets their signals well and they quickly relax in her care. Not surprisingly, Bridie particularly enjoys grooming and providing high quality care for your pets. When not at work, she can be found riding her horse in the farmlands and spoiling her (furry) boys Doug and Stanley!
Daniel
Veterinary Nurse
Daniel is a confident and supremely friendly face around the Westlakes clinic. He is always working hard to ensure that the entire team experiences a positive work environment, and that patients have a wonderful stay in our care. He is a true animal lover and will tirelessly devote efforts to building clinical skills and knowledge.
Savannah
Veterinary Nurse
With over seven years of experience in veterinary nursing, Savannah has a strong passion for medical nursing and an added interest in caring for hospital patients. Her background includes emergency and specialist nursing, where she developed a calm, compassionate approach to patient care. Outside of her clinic work, she runs her own animal behaviour business, supporting pets and their families in building better connections. At home, she shares life with three beloved fur babies – Callie, Pablo, and Enzo.
AMy
Veterinary Nurse
Amy is a highly experienced veterinary nurse with a very broad knowledge base. In her 20 years in the industry she has developed an in-depth understanding of animal behaviour and uses these skills constantly in the clinic to make every patient’s experience as positive as possible. Amy has a clinical interest in all things exotic species, such as birds, rabbits and rodents!
Outside of work Amy is kept busy with her energetic young family and new found farm life!
Makayla
Makayla is a skilled and compassionate veterinary nurse who brings a warm, calming presence to both pets and their people. An all-rounder at heart, she enjoys every aspect of nursing – from treatment and surgical support to pathology, where her attention to detail shines. Makayla loves building strong connections with our clients and their beloved pets, always going the extra mile to make them feel cared for. Outside of work, she adores spending time with her beautiful Rottweiler, Merci, who keeps her busy and brings endless joy
Amalia
Amallia is a final stage Vet nursing TAFE student with outstanding skills and potential. She diligently cares for all patients at Westlakes with the utmost love and attention. Her quiet, calm demeanor is so valued in the practice as she helps your best friends to have a pleasant and low stress stay in hospital. You’ll find Amallia at barrel racing and rodeo competitions on her weekends, where she has competed on the national stage, or cuddling in front of the fire with her cat Tiger
Puddin
Hospital Caretaker
Puddin has a mysterious background. After an unknown period living as a street cat, she was presented to the clinic in need of emergency veterinary care. Puddin received wonderful treatment in our care but no family came forth to collect her. Instead she started working her magic, slowly winning over the staff as her loyal subjects until now she rules the roost. She has a difficult position, mostly sleeping through clinic hours but ultimately all major clinic decisions are at Puddin’s discretion.
