To ensure waiting time is kept to a minimum, consultations are strictly by appointment.

Home visits available.

24 Hour Emergency Service

 After 6PM on weekdays and outside of our opening hours on Sundays and public holidays, we are supported by the Newcastle Animal Emergency and Referral Centre (NAREC) in Broadmeadow, which is only open after hours. Patients that require overnight monitoring are transferred to the NAEC and then transferred back to us the next morning if not well enough to be sent home.

Westlakes Vet Hospital is located at 1 Bay Road, Fennell Bay in Western Lake Macquarie. We service Toronto, Rathmines, Coal Point, Kilaben Bay, Blackalls Park and surrounding suburbs. You will find us just 30 minutes south west of Newcastle.
